Moms won’t approve of this weekend forecast
Updated 10:01 am, Friday, May 11, 2018
We’ve had a string of spectacular days of nice weather this week.
Unfortunately, our sun-splashed days are coming to an end just when the weekend kicks in.
Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 68 degrees.
This weekend, skies will be mostly cloudy with showers likely.
Saturday has the best chance for rain with up to a half-inch possible.
For Mother’s Day, there’s only a 30 percent chance of rain before noon.
And, there is a chance Sunday’s weather could turn out better than currently forecast.
“There is a good amount of uncertainty with where exactly the front will be and where any low/disturbances track,” the National Weather Service says in its forecast discussion.
As moms would say, be patient and hope for the best.
