How much snow did we get this time?
It’s still 18 days before the start of winter and Connecticut is coverved in snow.
The snow came in two rounds, the first on Sunday and then on Monday into Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says total accumulations from those two rounds brought 16 inches to Somers, 14 inches for Simsbury anf 13.4 inches at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks

These totals - taken this morning - come from the Communty Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network. The heaviest snow fall in northwestern Conneticut.
Collinsville: 10 inches
West Hartford: 9.8 inches
North Canton: 8 inches
Staffordville: 7 inches
New Fairfield: 6.7 inches
Norwich; 6.1 inches
Moosup: 5.5 inches
Monroe: 4 inches
Uncasville: 3.8 inches
Warren: 3.5 inches
Mystic: 3.4 inches
Milford and Old Lyme: 2.5 inches
Stratford (Sikorsky airport): 2 inches
New Haven: 1.80 inches
Norwalk: 1 inch
The snow was a blessing for ski areas in western New York, Massachusetts and southern Vermont.
The biggest winner was Mount Snow in Vermont with 23 inches of snow the last two days. Berkshire East in northeastrn Massachsetts had 19 inches and Hunter in New York more than a foot.
Connecticut’s Mohawk Mountain in Cornwall picked up 14 inches.
