Snow will linger into this morning, primarily across southeast Connecticut, before low pressure moves northeast oft the area.

In its wake, skies will clear from west to east, with partly sunny conditions expected across the region by afternoon.

With a breezy northwest wind, highs this afternoon will range from the mid 30s across the interior to around 40 at the coast,- about five to 10 degrees below normal for the beginning of December.

Clouds will return overnight tonight into the day on Wednesday. Temperatures will again remain below normal, with overnight lows ranging from the mid 20s to around 30 and daytime highs only rising into the upper 30s to mid 40s.
