For the 16th consecutive year, the Staples boys basketball team will host a clinic on Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 20) at Staples High School.

The clinic will run from 9 to 11 a.m., with sign-ups and warm-ups to take place from 8:30 to 9 a.m. The cost is $35 per child or $60 for two brothers.

The clinic, which is organized by Wreckers head coach Colin Devine and his staff, is open to all boys in grades 2 through 8.

Staples' junior varsity and varsity boys basketball players will be assisting the coaching staff as well.

Participants in grades 2 through 5 will be taught in the school's field house, while those in grades 6 through 8 will be taught in the school's gym.

Basketballs will be provided, but it is recommended that participants bring a water bottle.

Everyone will receive a Staples basketball T-shirt and a complementary season pass for all Staples home games.
