Girls lacrosse: Greens Farms Academy lost at Convent of the Sacred Heart 12-6 in the Fairchester Athletic Association semifinals on May 20.

Tied at halftime, the Dragons allowed three goals within the first five minutes of the second half to fall behind 7-4. Ultimately, they came up short.

Sophomore Campbell Goldsmith led GFA with three goals and an assist. Junior Tia Carson and senior Meighan Grady each added a goal. Freshman goalie Lucy Webb made 12 saves.

Girls tennis: GFA hosted the FAA Girls Tennis Tournament on May 20. The field included the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles teams from each of the eight league schools.

The Dragons' doubles team of senior Olivia Kjorlien and sophomore Avery Wolfe won the FAA doubles title for a second straight season. For Kjorlien, it was the third year in a row she has captured the title.

The No. 2 doubles team of seniors Suzy McGrath and Jessica Liu finished as quarterfinalists. The duo trailed top-seeded Convent of the Sacred Heart 0-5 in the first round, but rallied to win 8-6.

GFA's No. 2 singles player, senior Kyja Kutnick, beat Holy Child's No. 1 to start. However, Kutnick lost in the quarterfinals.

Baseball: The Dragons lost at Hamden Hall 4-0 in the quarterfinals of the New England Baseball Tournament (Class C) on May 20.

Senior Jonah Singer and junior Ben Enelow had hits for GFA.
