BOXING: Dutchover improves to 8-0 in pro career

ORANGE, Calif. – Midland High grad and junior lightweight boxer Michael Dutchover improved to 8-0 in his pro career with a unanimous decision over Ricardo Lopez on Saturday night.

Dutchover’s eight-round bout against the boxer from Tijuana, Mexico, was the main attraction in a “Night of Champions” held at the Doubletree Hotel to benefit the TKO Youth Foundation.

Dutchover, 20, currently lives in the Los Angeles area and is trained and managed by Danny Zamora. In addition to his eight win, Dutchover has had five knockouts.
