Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'Secret' Home—Revealed
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have a vacation home to escape the hustle and bustle. Take a look at their royal retreat in the Cotswolds!
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have had quite a year—royal wedding, the impending arrival of their first baby, plus their new home, Windsor's Frogmore Cottage, is undergoing renovations. So where do they go when they want to get away from it all?
The Sun recently revealed the answer: a renovated 18th-century farmhouse in the Cotswolds, about two hours east of London. The publication even snagged a pic of the royal couple's vacation home.
Here's everything we know about the royals' secret home away from home (or should we say, home away from castle?).

It's a rental
The 4,000-square-foot, three-bedroom house is worth an estimated 2.5 million pounds (about $3.2 million). But get this: This royal couple doesn't own the place.
Real Estate Listings
While much of the property enjoyed by the royal family goes back generations, this Cotswolds home is one that Meghan and Harry found as a rental before they'd even wed. They have a two-year lease on the place, so only time will tell if they will be allowed to stay after that point—or buy it from the current owner.
It's a farmhouse
That farmhouse style isn't popular just with Chip and Joanna Gaines. The United Kingdom has a long and storied agricultural history, and much of the architecture throughout the countryside shows those roots. That includes the royal couple's vacation home, which is a farmhouse that includes a fully renovated barn to boot!
It has two kitchens
The house has not just one, but two kitchens—one on the lower level and a second on the upper level. There's plenty of space for their chefs to cook up a storm for a royal dinner party!
It's got plenty of land
The paparazzi won't be able to stand outside the gate and peek in at the royal couple when they're at their vacation home. That's thanks to 4 acres of land that ensures the farmhouse is private, while providing the couple plenty of space to take long strolls with their dogs in the rolling hills of the countryside.
Of course, 4 acres is piddly compared with some of the estates Harry is used to. His grandparents' vacation home, Balmoral Castle in Scotland, is located on 50,000 acres. But you've got to start somewhere, right?
Guests have their own space
Ever feel like your in-laws are cramping your style when they crash at your place? That's not a problem when you're part of the royal family.
This property also comes with a separate two-bedroom guest cottage, where Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, has reportedly stayed before. When the couple are not entertaining guests such as Meghan's bestie and stylist Jessica Mulroney, the cottage can be used by staff.
