Cops: Stamford man charged in harassment of Westport woman
WESTPORT - A 54-year-old Stamford man has been arrested on a harassment charge after calling a woman’s cell phone 15 times.
Police said AC Robinson was in an active protective order when he made those calls on Nov. 7, 2017.
“The victim stated she only answered one of the calls, during which Robinson told her he would not leave her alone and would hurt her,” Lt. Jullian Cabana said in a release.
“The conditions of the protective order against Robinson included prohibitions against assaulting, abusing and harassing the victim.”
On Oct. 4, Robinson was taken into custody at the Stamford Police Department on the active arrest warrant.
He was transported to Westport Police headquarters where he was charged first-degree harassment, criminal violation of protective order.
Robinson was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and was brought to Norwalk Superior Court for arraignment.
