A program for middle- and high-school students who'd like to try their hands at improvisational comedy will take place Sunday, Aug. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Westport Library.

The program is designed for students who make their friends laugh or are fans of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

The workshop will be conducted by Kerstin Warner, a Westport teacher and student at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Participants can play games, invent characters and create scenes on the spot.

The program is free, but online registration

is required.
