Humberto Garcia March 17, 1962-January 22, 2021 Mr. Humberto Garcia, 58, lost his battle against cancer, and entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2021. Mr. Garcia was born on March 17, 1962 to Valentin and Maria Garcia in Laredo, Texas. He worked for Leyendecker Construction Company for over 17 years. He was preceded in death by his father Valentin Garcia; sister Rosa B. Gonzalez; niece Yvette Gonzalez; and brother-in-law, Rodolfo Gonzalez. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Maria Cadena Garcia; his sisters, Maria Teresa (Eloy) Chapa, Jr., Maria Elma (Carlos) Cirlos, Graciela (Alvaro +) Lopez, Hilda Garcia Lara; niece Rachel Lara; brothers, Jose Luis (Maria del Refugio) Garcia, Valentin (Gloria +) Garcia, Jr., Ramon Antonio (Bertha) Garcia, Mario (Adriana) Garcia, and Homero (Sonia Maribel) Garcia. He is also survived by his aunt Celia Cadena, numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. The family received condolences on Tuesday evening, January 26, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held this morning, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
