Woman accused of leaving scene of 3-car accident
HUDSON, N.H. (AP) — A woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that involved three vehicles, police in New Hampshire said.
Police in Hudson said two of the vehicles were stopped in traffic on Jan. 8. A third vehicle rear-ended one of the stopped cars, which caused a chain reaction. The vehicle left the scene, despite significant damage with an airbag deployment, police said.
Police eventually issued an arrest warrant. April Jean, 48, of Hudson, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of conduct after an accident. She was released on personal recognizance bail until her Feb. 20 court date.
It wasn't immediately known if Jean had a lawyer who could speak on her behalf, and a possible number for her was disconnected.
The other two drivers didn't report any injuries.
