Bridgeport's Beardsley Zoo and its "Zoomobile" will bring its lizard program to Sherwood Island State Park four times over the summer.

The program, titled "Remarkable Reptiles: In a Class by Themselves!," will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7 and 21, and Sept. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 12, either at the park's beach or in its nature center, depending on the weather.

Attendees to the program, presented in partnership with the center and state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, will be shown endangered reptiles from around the world, according to a news release from the zoo.

The program is free but an admission fee to the park may apply.
