Westport weather: Sunny & warm

After early-morning patches of fog clear from the region, today promises to the be sunny and warm, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut should be about 80 degrees, with an east wind 5 to 8 mph, becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Tonight, there is a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. as skies turn mostly cloudy. The temperature will dip to a low around 65 degrees.
Tomorrow there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, while skies will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will be about 80 degrees. There also is a chance of precipitation tomorrow night, and the low temperature is expected to be in the upper-60s.
Wednesday should be partly sunny with high temperatures in the low-80s, with a slight chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. There remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight, and the low temperature should be in the upper-60s.
The outlook for Thursday, according to the weather service, is for a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon, and temperatures in the low-80s.
