Westport weather: Sun giving way to rain

The chilly but nice weather that's enveloped southwestern Connecticut for the last three day is sliding off to the Atlantic, allowing a low-pressure system to move up the East Coast toward Westport and vicinity, bringing rain tomorrow.
A second low will arrive Thursday night into Friday, triggering more wet weather.
But today will be mostly sunny, with only a few stratocumulus clouds aloft to dull the sunshine. It'll be a little warmer than Tuesday, with highs in the mid-50s. Clouds will thicken toward evening, and rain is expected to start falling across the region early Thursday.
The sun will set today at 5:46 and there will be 10 hours and 19 minutes of sunlight. Sunrise tomorrow will occur at 7:27 a.m..
Here's more details from the National Weather Service forecast:
Tonight, there is a chance of rain, increasing in the early-morning hours of Thursday. Temperatures will fall to about 40 degrees.
On Thursday, rain is very likely, with amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Nighttime low is expected to be about 43 degrees.
More rain is expected Friday, mainly before noon. High temperatures should be about 50 degrees.
