Westport weather: Sizzling start to weekend
There is a chance of early-morning showers and thunderstorms in southwestern Connecticut, before the temperatures spike to the upper-90s later today.

There is also an "air-quality alert" in effect for the region from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., since the heat and humidity are expected to produce unhealthy ozone levels.

Tomorrow is expected to be sunny and hot, with a high temperature in the low-90s. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night, as skies become partly cloudy and the low temperature is in the upper-60s.
On Sunday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through afternoon. Otherwise, skies will be sunny and temperatures will rise to a high in the upper-80s. Skies on Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 70 degrees.
