It will be a sunny day in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service, but showers are expected tonight.

The daytime high temperature will be about 60 degrees, with a mild north wind about 8 mph, later becoming south.

Showers are likely overnight, as the temperature falls to the upper-40s. There will be a south wind around 9 mph.

Tomorrow will also be damp, with showers mainly before 3 p.m., followed by areas of drizzle later and some patchy fog. The temperature is expected to rise to the upper-50s. There may be some drizzle tomorrow night, and the temperature will register a low of about 50 degrees.

On Wednesday, there is a slight chance of showers after 11 a.m. and the temperature will rise to the mid-50s. Nighttime temperatures will be in the low-50s and the temperature will fall to the low-50s.

The outlook for Thursday, the weather service predicts, is for possible showers and a high temperature in the upper-60s.
