Westport weather: Clear but colder
Today promises to be clear but colder than yesterday's gray and snowy skies, according to the forecast for southwestern Connecticut.
The daytime high temperature will be only 26 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, with a north wind between 10 and 14 mph.
Tonight will also be clear, with the low temperature tumbling into the mid-teens. The north wind will register between 13 and 15 mph.
Tomorrow will also be sunny, but warmer with a high near 35. The nighttime low will be about 23 degrees.
On Thursday, the daytime high is expected to rise to about 41 degrees, according to the NWS. There will be an east wind 7 to 11 mph, then becoming south.
Overnight Thursday, there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation, which the NWS could be a mix of rain and snow.
On Friday, rain, perhaps mixed with snow, may continue until about 9 a.m. The skies will be cloudy, but the temperature could rise to a high in the mid-40s.
