Westport weather: A stormy outlook again

Today, like yesterday, has the potential for "hazardous" storms, according to the National Weather Service.
In issuing that outlook for southwestern Connecticut, the weather service said there is a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Some of these scattered storms could produce downpours, which in turn could trigger flash flooding.
Otherwise, the NWS says today's skies will be cloudy, with a high temperature in the low-80s.
Tonight, there is more potential for showers and thunderstorms, as skies remain cloudy and the temperature dips to about 70 degrees. Odds of nighttime of precipitation are 50 percent.
Tomorrow, scattered showers and thunderstorms again are possible, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Chance of daytime precipitation is 50 percent.
Tomorrow night, the odds of unsettled weather begin to subside, but skies will remain cloudy as the temperature declines to a low in the mid-60s. Chance of nighttime precipitation is 30 percent.
On Saturday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with a high temperature about 80 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, with a low around temperature in the upper-60s.
Sunday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-80s. Night skies will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 70 degrees.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 80s.
