WESTPORT — A Westport man threatened victims while waving a knife at a local residence, police said.

On Dec. 29 around 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned Alec Johnson, 23, threatened victims while brandishing a knife and then left the scene, police said. No one was injured during the incident, according to police.

Officers later located Johnson at Compo Beach and transported him to police headquarters, where he was charged with threatening and disorderly conduct. Johnson was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and transported to state Superior Court of Norwalk the following morning for arraignment.
