
Westport forecast: More mixed holiday weather

Forecasting more unsettled weather conditions for this Memorial Day holiday weekend, the National Weather Service says that today will be partly sunny -- with a slight threat of precipitation tonight.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut is expected to reach the upper-70s, with a northeast wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south.
Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, as the temperature dips to the low-60s.
Tomorrow -- Memorial Day -- there is a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, as skies turn mostly cloudy and the temperature rises to the low-80s. Showers and thunderstorms remain possible tomorrow night before 9 p.m. as the temperature registers in the mid-60s, the NWS says.
On Tuesday, there again is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. The high temperature will be in the upper-70s. Precipitation is also a possibility Tuesday night under cloudy skies as the temperature dips to the mid-60s.
The outlook for Wednesday, the weather service says, is for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, cloudy and temperatures in the mid-70s.
