WESTPORT — A town resident was recently arrested and charged with trespassing on a woman’s property in June.
Carrie Owen had allegedly been warned not to trespass on the woman’s property due to past incidents. Police said surveillance footage shows the 45-year-old on her property on June 14, after the warning.
A warrant was out for Owen’s arrest when she was pulled over by an officer for a traffic violation March 2, according to police. She was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing. The resident of Big Pines Road in Westport has a March 10 court date.
