The Westport Public Library is appealing to patrons to fill out a survey form so library officials can learn which services are used and what its patrons would like to see offered in the future.

The library said the survey takes about five minutes to complete and can he found on its website --

Printed copies are available at the circulation desk and in the library's audio visual department.

Libraries historically have adapted to the contemporary needs of their patrons, the library said in a news release. In addition to loaning out books and movies, the library in recent months has offered non-traditional events such as a Mini-Maker Faire, an "app" slam and a re-enactment of the Hunger Games, according to the release.

Feedback from its patrons is essential, the library said, as it evolves from a collection of books to a campus for connecting, learning and experimenting.

Survey results will be compiled, analyzed, and shared in the coming months, the library said.
