DANBURY - The Western Connecticut State men's basketball team defeated SUNY Farmingdale 78-70 in the championship game of the WCSU Holiday Tournament Sunday at the O'Neill Center.

Greg Cole led the Colonials with 24 points; he added four rebounds. Dashon Jennings of Bridgeport scored 13 points - including a 10-for-10 effort from the foul line - and
Kyle Norfleet of Waterbury added 12 points Jason Windsor had seven rebounds.

In the consolation game, Wesleyan defeated Mitchell 68-47 behind Jimmy Shepherd's 21 points. Jared Ashe of Stamford added 13 points in the win. Farmingdale 29 41 - 70
