Warrant: Woman committed larceny in Westport stores

Annay Vette Caran-Fried, 36, of Fairfield, surrendered to police Feb. 24 at approximately 10 a.m. after learning of several arrests for her arrest.
Caran-Fried had been charged with third-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, three counts of sixth-degree larceny and four counts of issuing a bad check. The charges relate to several incidents last January when Caran-Fried reportedly wrote bad checks at the Cellar Workshop jewelry store, Indego Spa, First Nails and Spa, and the Garelick & Herbs food store.
She was released on a total bond of $6,250 for the charges, and is scheduled to appear March 7 in Norwalk Superior Court.
