The Staples girls volleyball team raised its record to 7-0 with a 3-0 (25-7, 25-14, 25-10) at Bassick (0-7) Friday. Every Staples player contributed in the victory over Bassick.

Katie Platt (four service aces, three kills, two digs) and Jen Dimitrief (two kills) came off the bench for the Lady Wreckers and showed what they were capable of. Anna Fiolek also played well for Staples and landed her lone attempt for a kill against the Lady Lions.

Joosje Grevers (five service aces, three kills) and Augustine Gradoux-Matt (one kill, one block, one dig) controlled the middle when they were in. Backup middle hitter Jess Coelho had an assist. Anna Link (two kills, one ace) and Kenzie Roof (one kill, one dig) were also solid for Staples.

Dani Kosinski (nine assists, six service aces) deftly ran the Lady Wreckers' offense. Courtney Barry (three assists, three aces, two digs) and Frankie Lynch (two assists, one ace, one kill) also showed they are good setters.

Amanda Pacilio (three aces, one dig), Lily Rappaport (one ace, one dig), Linsdsay Graber (one ace, one dig, one kill), Katie Glick (one dig), Cheyenne Haslett (one dig) and Amelia Brackett (two digs, one kill) also contributed for Staples.
