The Westport Center for Senior Activities will host its second annual "Trivia Time," an all-ages team competition that puts a premium on having team members from from different generations who can pool their knowledge, sponsors said.

The contest is planned from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and will include refreshments and three prize baskets.

The quiz master will be Dan Woog, the blogger, Westport News columnist and Staples High School soccer coach who also is something of an expert on Westport trivia, sponsors said.

Questions will involve trivia about the the town and far beyond, sponsors said in a news release.

Tickets are $5 per person, and teams may include six to eight people, sponsors said. Individuals or pairs who would like to participate will be assigned to a team.

Tickets are available at the Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave. Sponsors urged participants to purchase tickets in advance because seating is limited and tickets may not be available at the door.
