"Cover Story: The New Yorker in Westport" and "Can't Tell a Book by its Cover:" noon-4 p.m. Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place. Exhibits showcase Westport's ties to The New Yorker magazine, through July 5.

"Scents & Soles:" noon-4 p.m. Westport Arts Center, 51 Riverside Ave. Exhibit of works by Robert Cottingham and Nina Bentley. Through Sept. 7.

June Maker-in-Residence: 1 p.m. Westport Library. Final program of month-long MakerSpace project led by Josh Burker to create musical instruments for those 8 years old and over.

Frazier Forman Peters book signing: 2 p.m. Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place. Bob Weingarten and Laura Blau sign copies of their book about the architect, "Frazier Forman Peters: Westport's Legacy in Stone."

Dave Brubeck tribute concert: 3 p.m. Unitarain Church, 10 Lyons Plains Road.

Seaweed farming: 4 p.m. Sherwood Island State Park. Jang Kim talks about seaweed aquaculture, preceded by nature programs on net fishing, purple martin nests.

"Sing for Your Shakespeare:" 8 p.m. Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court. Musical revue influenced by The Bard's works.
