Make an all-sky camera: 6 p.m. Westport Library. Maker-in-Residence Ed Kalin, an MIT graduate and electronics enthusiast, leads a series of workshops in March to make an all-sky camera, able to take a 360-degree image of the sky.

Teen multi-cultural essay contest: 6:30 p.m. Westport Library. Awards ceremony for winners of essay contest co-sponsored by TEAM Westport and the library.
