Pleasant weather is expected to continue through most of the weekend, so enjoy the late-summer sunshine while checking out some of these activities in Wetsport:
Indulge in "Foodies," the new food-themed exhibit of diverse art works at the Westport Arts Center, 51 Riverside Ave., which open Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a "market" reception featuring local food vendors. Grab a slice of what the revitalized Saugatuck section of town with the annual wine, food tasting and retail experience called "A Slice of Saugatuck Festival" on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Forty-five neighborhood businesses -- restaurants and retailers -- open their doors for the event. Pound the stress out of your life at the Community Drum Circle led by percussionist Randy Brody at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Unitarian Church, 10 Lyons Plains Road. The drum circle is for all ages, no experience required. Drums will be provided or bring your own. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Visit the Westport Antiques & Vintage Emporium when it sets up at Luciano Park on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market supports Westport's Homes with Hope and features a variety of merchandise from a large inventory of vendors. Admission is $2 per person For more information, call 203-858-9573.
