Theft of gum, candy in Westport charged

Kerny Saint-Vilien, 19, of Bridgeport, was charged with larceny early Sunday morning by Westport police at Bridgeport police headquarters on an outstanding warrant.
The warrant relates to a May incident in which Saint-Vilien and another party stole gum and candy from the BP gas station at 1510 Post Road East, police said.
Saint-Vilien was charged with sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny. He was released on $2,500 bond, and is scheduled to appear Sept. 28 in Norwalk Superior Court.
