The prize-winning young soprano Elizabeth Baldwin will perform Sunday afternoon, April 1, in Westport at the Connecticut Alliance For Music's third house concert of the season.

The performance is planned at 3 p.m. at the home of Maureen Whiteman and Lawrence Zlatkin, 323 Greens Farms Road, and will be followed by a reception.

Reservations are required as space is limited.

Baldwin won first prize in the alliance's 2011 Heida Hermanns International Voice Competition, and she has performed in an array of U.S. venues and abroad. Her performances have included oratorio and concert works, such as Schubert's Shepherd on the Rock, Mendelssohn's Elijah and John William's Seven For Luck.

Baldwin received a master of music degree in vocal performance from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. She has participated in the Tanglewood Music Center, Chautauqua Opera, Arbor Opera, Boston Opera Institute, Virginia Opera, Marilyn Horne Foundation, Pine Mountain Music Festival, and Ravinia Steans Music Institute.
