Silver Ribbon in Westport will feature unique handmade items from Connecticut's Cornerstone Project on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26 and 27. Profits from the sale, to celebrate the jewelry shop's designation as Best of CT 2013 for Handcrafted Jewelry, will be donated to Cornerstone's educational efforts for orphaned children in Kenya.

Featured items at the store, 1240 Post Road East, will include handcrafted jewelry, handbags, baskets and other handcrafted items, showcasing unique jewelry and handbags made by Kenyan women. The celebration also includes a free raffle for a $100 Silver Ribbon Gift Certificate.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Silver Ribbon was selected for the honor by Connecticut Magazine.
