The Friends of The Westport Center for Senior Activities, will kick off the sixth season of its free Sunday Music Series at the Center with a concert starring Steve D'Agostino 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the center, 21 Imperial Ave. Doors open 1 p.m., followed by refreshments 1:30 p.m.

D'Agostino, a vocalist, and his musicians will perform standards from the "Great American Songbook," including hits by Cole Porter, Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer and Sammy Cahn. D'Agostino has performed at Las Vegas' Paris Casino Hotel, Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, The Pequot Room at Foxwoods Casino, Ledyard's MGM Grand Theatre and the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts in Westport, according to a release from the senior center.

The December concert will feature cabaret act Maureen Hamill & Friends, while the January show will present bluegrass performers Margot Leverett & The Klezmer Mountain Boys. Soprano Jodi Keogan and her musical collaborators will present a program of Broadway and opera favorites, followed in March by The Mill River Band playing a mix of acoustic rock, country blues and western swing.
