Security officer charged with defrauding store

Keith Burke, 37, of Bethel was arrested about 8 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of first-degree larceny.
Burke turned himself in at the Westport Police Department after being told there was a warrant for his arrest. Burke, a former loss-prevention manager of Williams-Sonoma at 136 Main St., allegedly made fraudulent refund transactions and pocketed approximately $32,000, police said.
Burke's bail was set at $10,000 and he is scheduled to appear July 9 in Norwalk Superior Court.
