A Land Rover flipped over on its roof late Saturday on Interstate 95 in Westport, injuring a passenger and tying up traffic for an hour.

The vehicle overturned about 10:45 p.m. between southbound Exits 17 and 16 in the highway's left lane. No other vehicles were involved.

When firefighters arrived at the accident scene, all the occupants were out of the Land Rover. A passenger was treated for cuts and bruises, and then brought to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation.

The highway's left and center lanes were closed while emergency crews were on the scene, backing up traffic traveling south nearly to the Fairfield border.

State Police are investigating the crash.
