Updated 5:53 am, Tuesday, October 13, 2015
A program of road paving and milling rolls out Tuesday, and is scheduled to take place over the next several weeks, with completion projected for November.
Public Works Director Steve Edwards said the following roads are included in the project:
Sasco Creek Road, Wakeman Place, Baker Avenue, Thomas Road, Wild Rose Road and Cunningham Place.
Also, Cross Highway (between Main Street and Compo Road), Red Coat Road (from Cavalry Road to dead end), Panhandle Lane, Stony Brook Road, Indian Point Lane, Pequot Trail, Bermuda Road and Surf Road.
People who live on the affected roads are asked to park off street during operations to avoid impeding work crews.
Advance notice will be given, with “No Parking” signs posted, on streets approximately 24 hours before work starts.
