Project Return, a Westport nonprofit that provides shelter and support to adolescent girls and young women in crisis, will host a Gather Round the Table Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Patterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway, Fairfield.

The program will feature author, lecturer and social justice advocate Letty Cottin Pogrebin, a founding editor of Ms. Magazine. She is also a co-founder of the National Women's Political Caucus and the Ms. Foundation for Women, according to a release.

She will be joined by her twin daughters, Robin Pogrebin, a reporter for the New York Times' culture desk, and Abigail Pogrebin, a former "60 Minutes" producer. Abigail is also author of "One and the Same: My Life as an Identical Twin" and "What I've Learned About Everyone's Struggle to Be Singular."

The luncheon's theme, the centering power of home, will showcase tablescapes created by interior designers and home stores that will be donated via a blind drawing.
