Police: Westport woman violated protective order
WESTPORT — A Westport woman was arrested on charges of criminal violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m. March 8, officers were dispatched on report of a disturbance. A victim and Nicole Richter, 44, had been in a verbal argument during which the victim retreated to a basement room and locked the door, but Richter attempted to force the door open, police said.
According to police, Richter’s actions were found to be in violation of an active protective order between Richter and the victim.
Richter was arrested and released after posting a $7,500 bond. She was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court March. 9.
