Kevin Letsch, 34, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Dec. 9 at 12:26 a.m. on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, traveling too fast for road conditions, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to obey a traffic signal and driving an uninsured vehicle.
According to the police report, Letsch was seen speeding westbound on Charles Street. When Letsch got to the intersection of Charles Street and Saugatuck Avenue, police report that he went through the red light and entered the northbound ramp on I-95. Police stopped him on I-95, and officers discovered his registration had expired and his vehicle was uninsured.
Police officers reportedly detected alcohol on Letsch's breath. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody, police said.
Letsch was released on a $510 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 17.
Jamie Wagner, 19, of Redding, was arrested on Dec. 9 at 9:28 p.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct stemming from an alleged fight that occurred with her boyfriend in his car.
Wagner was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 10.
Donald Purcell, 38, of Norwalk, was arrested on Dec. 13 at 1:15 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, speeding, failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a car without a license.
According to the report, Purcell was clocked by radar on Saugatuck Avenue traveling 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. When Purcell was stopped, the arresting officer reportedly detected alcohol on Purcell's breath. Police said Purcell failed a field sobriety test, refused to take a breath test and was taken into custody.
Purcell was released on a $500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 24.
Both were released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 14.
