According to the report, there was a domestic disturbance and nobody was injured.
Both were released on promises to appear in Norwalk Superior Court later that day.
Filiberto Hernandez, 34, of Bridgeport was arrested on Oct. 19 at 1:38 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the report, Hernandez was observed swerving between the westbound lanes on Post Road East. When stopped, the officer reportedly detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Police said Hernandez failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Hernandez's bail was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 29.
Laurie Phillips, 48, of Bridgeport was arrested on Oct. 19 at 7:21 a.m. on a charge of sixth-degree larceny.
According to the report, Phillips turned himself in on a warrant stemming from an alleged shoplifting on Sept. 25. Phillips was reportedly observed by store security at Super Stop & Shop, 1790 Post Road E., stealing small items on separate occasions in September.
Phillips' bail was set at $7,500 and she is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 29.
