Theodore Larsen, 24, of Weston was arrested on Oct. 11 at 2:27 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to the report, Larsen was observed making a sudden turn on Redcoat Road without signaling. When stopped, the officer reportedly detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Police said Larsen failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Larsen's bail was set at $500 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 22.

Melanie Ullah, 30, of Bridgeport was arrested on Aug. 13 at noon on two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

According to the report, Ullah had allegedly redeemed $560.30 in bottle slips at Super Stop & Shop, 1760 Post Rd. E., but the slips had previously been redeemed at a Stop & Shop in Shelton. Police said an investigation revealed that the slips were taken from the store by an accomplice, who has a warrant pending.

Ullah was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 26.

Gerald Host, 23, of Fairfield was arrested on Oct. 14 at 5:45 p.m. on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs not in the original container.

According to the report, Host was pulled over on the Sherwood Island Connector because his car did not have a front license plate. The officer reportedly detected an odor of marijuana coming from Host's car. Police said a search revealed small amounts of cocaine and marijuana and prescription drugs not in the original container.

Host's bail was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 26.

Daniel Coughlin, 60, of Mystic was arrested on Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. on a charge of issuing a bad check.

According to the report, the Westport Police Department were notified by the Groton Town Police Department that Coughlin was apprehended. Westport police issued a warrant for his arrest in July because he allegedly wrote a bad $1,000 check to the AAA Motor Club. Police said several attempts to have Coughlin make the payment were unsuccessful.

Coughlin's bail was set at $2,500 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 26.

Salvatore Latella, 52, of Westport was arrested on Oct. 15 at 8:15 p.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct.

According to the report, Latella was involved in a domestic disturbance with his son. Police said the son was also arrested but his name was not released because he is a minor.

Latella was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 16.

Deborah Thomas, 51, of Norwalk was arrested on Oct. 17 at 2:13 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to the report, Thomass vehicle was observed swerving between the curb and the yellow centerline on Saugatuck Avenue. When pulled over, the officer reportedly detected an odor of alcohol on her breath. Police said Thomas failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Thomas' bail was set at $500 and she is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 29.

Three 20-year-old males were arrested on Oct. 18 at 12:22 a.m. on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a child.

According to the report, police were informed that there was an underage drinking party on Stone Drive. Peter Bekku of Westport, William Kelley of Fort Wainwright, Ark., Chistopher Grayson of Westport and an unidentified youth were found at the house. Police said empty beer cans, empty liquor bottles, a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia was found in plain view.

Bail for Bekku, Kelly and Grayson was set at $1,000 and each are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 28.
