Police: Man steals woman’s car outside of Naugatuck drugstore

NAUGATUCK — Police are looking for a man who they say stole a woman’s car outside of a Naugatuck Rite Aid Friday evening.

A man allegedly shoved a 55-year-old woman to the ground outside of the drugstore around 7 p.m., according to the Naugatuck Police Department.

The man then took the woman’s purse and car keys before driving away in her car, which was a 2011 gray Subaru Legacy with a Connecticut license tag of AC45705, police said.

The woman suffered minor injuries from the incident, police said.

She described the man as 5-feet-6-inches and with a medium build, according to police.
