Police: Dry cleaner pocketed cash found in customer’s pocket

WESTPORT — A local dry cleaning employee is facing charges after she stole money from a customer’s wallet left in a pair of pants, police said.
Police said 39-year-old Keeann Bardliving, 39, of Bridgeport, pocketed another person’s money after she chanced upon a money clip containing cash, a license and credit cards while cleaning a pair of pants left at a Westport dry cleaner.
Bardliving was transported to the Westport Police Department from the Greenwich Police Department, where she was being held on unrelated charges.
Bardliving was charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 10.
