Pizza delivery man charged after accident
A pizza delivery driver faces charges following a motor vehicle accident Sunday night.
Lito Toscano, 31, of North Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with evading responsibility; operating without a license and improper passing.
A motorist told police that her vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was heading west on Post Road East, according to the report.
The driver of that vehicle was identified as Toscano. He told police that he didn't stop for the accident because he was delivering pizza and felt the accident wasn't his fault, the police report said.
Toscano posted a $500 bond and was released from custody. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 31 at Superior Court in Norwalk.
