Oral surgeon to address Sunrise Rotary

A veteran Westport oral surgeon will speak on advances in dentistry at the Westport Sunrise Rotary breakfast meeting on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 a.m. at Bobby Q's, 42 Main St, The meeting is open to the public for a $12 fee, which includes a breakfast buffet.
Dr. Arthur Ashman, an oral surgeon and dentist for more than 35 years, will speak on "Innovative advances in dentistry ... or why you can't do without us!"
Ashman will discuss breakthroughs in dental technology involving the use of synthetic bone graft materials and dental implants. He is a clinical professor and founder of Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University's College of Dentistry. His private practice is in oral and maxillo facial surgery and rehabilitative and implant dentistry.
