Y’s Women host Hole in the Wall Gang executives
WESTPORT — James Canton, CEO, and RyanThompson, chief development and communications officer, of the Hole in the Wall Gang will be the guest speakers at the Y’s Women meeting on Oct. 22 at Temple Israel on Coleytown Road. The event begins at 10:45 a.m. with coffee and conversation, followed by the program at 11:30.
The Y’s Women, founded in 1992, serves active and involved working and retired women in Fairfield County, and has a membership of more than 400 members. To learn more, visit yswomen.org.
Tree maintenance scheduled
WESTPORT — Parks and Recreation Director Jennifer Fava has announced that tree maintenance work will take place at Riverside Park and the Lillian Wadsworth Arboretum over the next few weeks.
Riverside Park will be closed Oct. 16 to 22, weather permitting; and the arboretum will be closed Oct. 18 to 26, weather permitting.
This work marks the beginning of the rehabilitation of Riverside Park and the continued creation of the Lillian Wadsworth Arboretum.
