Two partners who say they began by selling at flea markets and antique shows plan to open a 20th century design gallery on Riverside Avenue.

Worrell Smith Gallery, at 611 Riverside Ave., will open on Saturday, May 31, offering modern sculpture, jewelry, furniture, lighting and ceramics, plus a rotating contemporary art selection.

In a news release, partners Greg Smith and Travis Worrell said an opening exhibit, "Home," would feature the artwork of four Westport artists -- Nina Bentley, Miggs Burroughs, Judith Steinbergand Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong.

A 7 p.m. reception on May 31 is open to the public. The show will run through July 26.
