Westporter Julia Marino scored another top finish on Saturday as the United States sent snowboarders to Pyeongchang, South Korea — the site of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games — for an Olympic test event held on the tallest big air scaffolding ramp in the world.

Marino — who hopes to qualify for the Olympics — scored 157.00 points to finish in second place, just ahead of Great Britain’s Katie Ormerod, who scored 156.75. Austria’s Anna Gasser won the event with a score of 180.75.

The finish may result in Marino’s inclusion in the roster for the 2017 X Games, an annual competition that is broadcast nationally on ESPN. Big air will be making its debut at the competition, and at the Olympics in 2018 for females.

Next up for Marino is the US Grand Prix at Copper Mountain in Colorado in mid December. The event is one of the first that begins the selection process for the Olympics.

Marino won the big air event at Fenway Park in Boston earlier this year.
