A 20-year-old man who police said stole a wall safe and money from a relative's home has been arrested.

Jonathan Loesser, of Bonnie Brook Road, was charged Friday on an active warrant with fifth-degree larceny.

Loesser was arrested at 5 a.m. Friday after police officers found him sleeping in his vehicle, which had broken down on Bayberry Lane, according to the report.

He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance: less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for marijuana and for a glass pipe he had in his possession at the time of his arrest.

He was held on a $35,000 court bond for the larceny arrest and was scheduled to have been arraigned later Friday in Norwalk Superior Court.
