Man charged with stalking, harassing former girlfriend

A 46-year-old man faces charges in connection with two incidents, an hour apart Wednesday, when police said he was stalking and harassing a former girlfriend.
Ramil Mansourov, of Tokeneke Road in Darien, was charged with second-degree stalking after the first incident, and second-degree harassment and violation of conditions of release as a result of the second, police said.
Police were called about 7 p.m. Wednesday by a woman who said her former boyfriend was looking in her vehicle parked at a Post Road West business. When police arrived at the scene, according to the report, Mansourov was following the woman as she approached the officers.
Mansourov has also been investigated for similar stalking incidents in Stamford, police said.
After he was booked on the second-degree stalking charge, a condition of his release was that he have no more contact with the woman, police said.
But about an hour later, police said Monsourov emailed the female several times. Westport police asked police in Darien to try to locate him, and he was found at a Darien bar a short time later. He was taken into custoday and brought back to Westport where he was charged with violation of condtions of release and second-degree harassment.
Mansourov was held on $250,000 bond and he was scheduled to appear the next day at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
